The Baie-des-Chaleurs SADC

The Baie-des-Chaleurs SADC supports and funds business development in the region. It offers support services to entrepreneurs as well as several financial assistance programs aimed at fostering the creation, maintenance and development of employment through enterprise start-up, modernization, acquisition and development.

The SADC is an active participant in community economic development; initiating, organizing and supporting various activities and projects enabling communities to stimulate their socio-economic development. Always mindful of the principles of sustainable local development, the SADC is committed to protecting the environment and to taking a leadership role in sustainable development. In 2005, it adopted a sustainable development policy to guide both the management of its resources and its development initiatives.
