Sustainable Development
“Sustainable development results from a series of public, private and community-based actions to meet current needs without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their specific needs.”
- Board of Directors, November 2005
Since 2005, the Baie-des-Chaleurs SADC has been committed to sustainable development. We believe that every action counts! In line with the principles of local sustainable development, the SADC is aware of the importance of the environment and sustainable development, and our leadership role in this area. That is why, in 2005, we adopted a sustainable development policy to frame our practices in resource management and our activities.
